This is a state-of-the-art facility accommodating community health clinics and centralized administration space for the Interior Health Authority. GGA-Architecture provided prime consulting services for both the base building and interior improvements. This five-storey 140,000 sq. ft. building is located in downtown Kelowna and contributes to the re-vitalization of the inner city. The interior program called for 60,000 sq. ft. of clinical space. Careful planning and modifications to service delivery allowed us to accommodate all primary medical programs on one 40,000 sq. ft. level, including programs for: Adult Mental Health and Substance Use, Developmental Disabilities and Children’s Health programs, a Promotion, Prevention and Health Protection program, Home Health Clinic, Audiology and Speech Pathology Clinic as well as, Chronic Disease Management.

Programs for non-clinical support and administration spaces total 65,000 sq. ft. including: Capital Projects and Planning, Human Resources, Finance, Allied Health Planning and Strategic Services, Work Place Health and Safety, Medical Affairs and Clinical networks as well as a Group Meeting Centre.
