The Market at the Crossings represents the first phase of commercial retail development of The Crossings – a mixed-use development featuring retail, office, hospitality, schools, libraries, recreational facilities and public parks. Inspired by the rolling coulees, soft prairie grasses and expansive blue skies found on the west side, the architecture reflects the rural contemporary nature of Lethbridge’s changing landscape. The design carries through to the unique landscape elements and public realm found within the site. There is a strong emphasis on multi-modal mobility including bus stops, bike pathways, and pedestrian connectivity between sites. Phase 1 is a dynamic part of the master plan and when fully realized, the development will be a vibrant gathering place and destination for nearby residents and communities at large. Anchor tenants in phase one include Boston Pizza, Subway, Rice King, Tim Horton’s and Original Joe’s restaurants along with Rexall pharmacy and Loblaw’s ‘No Frills’ grocer.
