The project focused on enhancing the sense of community by creating spaces that bring tenants together while addressing contemporary office needs with innovative design solutions. This extensive renovation includes the reimagining of the ground floor and Plus 15 levels, with a special emphasis on the central atrium that connects all three towers to the exterior plaza. The Ampersand is more than just an office building; it is a vibrant community hub that attracts young entrepreneurs and professionals seeking a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Key elements of the revitalization include redesigning the large atrium and the north tower lobby and introducing new amenities such as a food market, café, library, meeting pods, fitness centre, lounge and bar. The renovation also features new tower entries and a redesigned public plaza complete with a dynamic LED feature sculpture that serves as a focal point for the space.

The Ampersand's design fosters a vibrant and socially engaging environment that blurs the lines between interior and exterior spaces. Transparent glass and multiple access points draw pedestrians into the building from street level. In contrast, the social stair that spills out from the Plus 15 level invites them into the atrium, where they can explore the Lil' E coffee shop and food truck-inspired dining options.
