Seton Professional Centre

The Seton Professional Centre is a significant addition to the vibrant mixed-use district of Seton in south Calgary. Strategically located across from the South Health Campus on Front Street, this three-story medical office building spans a full city block and embodies the vision for Seton of creating a dynamic urban centre in southern Calgary.

Designed to seamlessly integrate with its surroundings, the building features a gross floor area of approximately 99,297 square feet that's divided into two wings connected by a pedestrian breezeway. This layout supports a variety of medical practices and fosters a cohesive and functional environment for both patients and staff.

A key architectural feature is the modulation of the building's scale through the use of bay windows, which are evenly spaced along the perimeter. These bay windows not only break up the massing of the block-long structure but also provide a sense of individuality for the various clinics housed within—contributing to a more human-scale experience.

The development includes a two-level underground parkade and a raised parking platform on the second level located behind the building. This parking solution ensures convenient access while integrating seamlessly with the overall design. By maintaining the parkade above grade, we achieved significant cost savings and optimized the use of the site to allow direct access to the building’s common areas for both patients and staff.
