Inspired by the flow of the South Saskatchewan River and the expansive prairie landscape, the building's massing is divided into two elements that lean in opposite directions—breaking up the perceived scale and creating dynamic views of the river. The tower's fully glazed façade maximizes natural light and transparency, while the two-storey commercial podium houses shops, cafés and lobby functions that connect the building to the surrounding public spaces. River Landing's East Tower emphasizes energy savings, with high-performance glazing and mechanical systems reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 21%. A rooftop penthouse with a restaurant and patio further enhances the building's usability and appeal.
