Eighth Avenue Place is a leader in sustainable building practices, earning the distinction of being Canada’s first LEED Platinum-CS high-rise office building. Its numerous environmental features include low-flow and water-saving plumbing fixtures, high-efficiency lighting systems and shaded windows that enhance energy efficiency by keeping the building cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The green roof—one of the largest in the country at 30,000 square feet—plays a crucial role in mitigating the heat island effect and managing stormwater.

This development also emphasizes occupant well-being and convenience by offering amenities such as a fitness centre, conference facilities, bike storage and executive car wash services.
