This project comprises the entire 20,000 sq. ft. second floor of the Riley Health Centre (formerly the Grace Hospital) in NW Calgary. The Caleo physicians specialize in spinal health and provide complementary services in general health. The scope of the project included complete demolition and renovation of the former tenant improvements including provision of all new mechanical and electrical systems. All work was completed within a fully functioning medical facility. Special attention was given to material, hardware and fits specific to balance image and create a welcoming comfortable environment while keeping long-term durability and ease of maintenance in mind.
GGA were engaged by the landlord, NorthWest Healthcare Properties, who were contracted by Caleo Health to provide a full turnkey for this new facility in NW Calgary. GGA provided Prime Consultant architectural and interior design services for the project. We worked closely with the Caleo stakeholders to verify their program requirements and develop a design concept which meets their objectives.
