We are always looking for professional and talented people to join our team of experienced Designers, Architectural Technologists, Contract Administrators and support staff.

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

Working under the supervision of an Architectural Technology manager, to perform a variety of technical tasks and to prepare contract documents. This technical role involves the Intermediate Technologist taking the project from the Design Development phase of the project, through the Construction Document Phase and to provide CA assistance through the construction phase. This role will contribute towards the accuracy, quality, completeness, and schedule of finished Construction Document packages, through co-ordination with GGA team members and Engineering consultants.

  1. Develop and prepare Design Development Drawings (DD) and coordinate outline specifications
  2. Develop and prepare Contract Documents (CD) and coordinate specifications
  3. Assist the Contract Administrator during construction with construction drawing revision support.
  4. Take mentorship and guidance from more experienced Architectural Technology team members
  5. Complete code analysis on projects
  6. Consultant coordination on projects
  7. Chair project meetings and issue meeting summaries.
  8. Assist in the performance of Quality Control procedures
  9. Capable of printing, assembly, circulation of filing of project documents
  10. Assist the Architectural Technology Managers, AT Team Leads and Project Leads with general DD and CD tasks
  11. Able to manage smaller projects independently
  12. Provide mentorship and guidance to Junior Technologists

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Architectural Technologist Diploma
  2. Minimum 5-7 years’ experience
  3. Strong Revit skills are required
  4. Strong background in Building Envelope detailing
  5. Must have experience as a Project Lead on smaller projects and be able to provide a support role to a Senior Project Lead on large projects
